So today I stayed in my pj's all day. First time I've done that in a long time. I am still sick and Sophia is still constipated, but such a good and happy baby. I am amazed at all the things she discovers each day. I wish I was learning as many new things about being a parent as she is as she grows.
James is in the field this week so its pretty lonely here. I am trying to find things to keep me busy but I still feel pretty sick so its hard to get out or up and do much. How do you women juggle more than one kid house work and everything else in life. You are my hero's. Any tips would be great. I feel so unequipped to be a Mom sometimes. Like there should have been a class beforehand to teach me how to teach her everything she needs to know. And how to do everything else I need to do. I just feel overwhelmed. So help advice and phone calls are welcome.
Hope you all have a wonderful week. Here are some pictures of our wonderful tree and yes it is crooked. :)

Monday updates.

Fia and I at our house
James playing soldier

Isn't he a studddd?

Our little pumpkin! Sorry if I already posted this its worth posting twice!

James and the guys, they were all growing mustashes. Grose huh?
This last week has been rough, I still have pneumonia and James is sick also. The best we can guess I got swine flu, probably from the shot ( I was already a little sick when I went in, so maybe that was enough for it to take hold ) and that turned into pneumonia. We have been so lucky though that Sophia hasn't gotten sick. I just keep praying that she wont get sick you moms out there know what I mean. Give it all to me Heavenly Father. So far so good. The rash turned out to be hives from something but we can't figure out what, best guess is that it was too much garlic. ( sorry Keira it didn't work for me)

James is in his last week of classes and were excited that things are finally winding down for this class. He has two more field exercises where he will be gone day and night. Then first one is next week, he will be gone all week. Then we go on Christmas vacation yay! When we get back he will be gone for 10 days strait. Its called the Gauntlet and its the last phase of this course. I sure hope he passes. If all goes well then he will graduate Jan22ND and we will be into our next group of classes. He has 3 more schools until we move to Colorado. It seems like its been forever, he joined last year and was in basic a year ago today. I can tell you we are ready to be done with training, and find some semblance of regular life again.

Sophia can sit all by herself now but is a bit overzealous for crawling she lunges and everything she sees. I know she will be a busy body soon and cruising all over the house. She has two teeth now ( the bottom two ) and has been eating solids for about 3 weeks now. She loves Squash! I am just amazed by her and how much she knows , learns and studies each day. What a wonderful thing it is to be a Mom and see these sweet spirits grow.
In other news we got a Christmas tree now we just have to try to make it stand strait its not the most Christmas tree stand friendly tree we've ever had. As soon as we get it up we are planning on taking family pictures by it and getting our Christmas cards out. ( it will be a miracle if it happens before Christmas) We are really looking forward to going to Utah for Christmas and would love to see you all. Happy holidays Hope you are all well.
Love the Tippets
Here are a few recent pictures of us. Ps I am much better at uploading pictures on Facebook than here so if you want to see us thats where I'd look. :)

I am so grateful for the priesthood and members that live close by and honor it. I have been so sick and tonight I broke out in a rash on my arms and face it really shook me and so I called my sweet neighbor and they left their 7 kids and came right over. I am so grateful to be a member of the restored Church. And have that comfort and support especially while James is gone. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for all he has done and to my Savior who knows me and who died for me.
